Jordan Nowak is an associate practicing in both the business and estate planning sections of Zell Law. Prior to joining Zell Law,
Jordan
worked as a Summer Associate for the firm. She worked on estate administration and assisted Zell Law attorneys in their preparation of estate planning documents.
Jordan
also assisted Zell Law attorneys in their preparation of initial business organizational documents for new entities.
While in law school,
Jordan
participated in an internship with the National Senior Citizens Law Center (NSCLC). At NSCLC, she learned about the policy behind Medicaid and the legal hurdles facing our aging society. In particular,
Jordan
assisted in the publication of two issues of the Long-Term Care Law Reporter, a bimonthly periodical that addresses recent case law pertaining to legal issues involving nursing homes, in-home care, assisted living facilities, Medicaid, Medicare, long-term care insurance, etc. She also researched case law for NSCLC attorneys that related to the legal rights of the elderly.
Jordan is admitted to practice law in
Virginia
. She holds a Juris Doctor from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, and she earned her bachelors degree from the
College of William
and Mary.
Jordan grew up in northern
Virginia
and is the eldest of three sisters. She resides in
Arlington, Virginia
with her husband, Tim Nowak.
